Industry: Bearings and linear technologies
Until 2023, NSK’s different regions operated their own websites using a variety of content management systems. This led to high operational costs, inconsistent structures, and made global brand communication challenging. Each region was responsible for its own website, resulting in fragmented processes and an inconsistent user experience. A unified strategy for managing and distributing global content was lacking, which hindered collaboration between international teams.
NSK decided to migrate all regional websites to Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) in the cloud to create a centralized platform. CONVOTIS was tasked with adapting the existing functions and components and revising the source code to meet strict security requirements. A key part of the solution was migrating over 10,000 pages from Europe, America, and Brazil. The content was semi-automatically transferred into the new system, not only consolidating the websites but also optimizing them in many areas.
Close collaboration with stakeholders across multiple time zones was key to the success of the project. By utilizing modern collaboration tools, content was transferred in a structured and efficient manner. The result was a platform that centrally provides global content while giving regional teams the flexibility to make local adjustments.
The centralized AEM platform enables more efficient management of global and regional content, reduces operational costs through system unification, and strengthens global collaboration. NSK now benefits from a flexible and future-proof web presence that caters to both local needs and creates global synergies.
