BatiControl Data AG, in collaboration with Noser Engineering, initiated the development of a platform to coordinate labor market inspections across Switzerland.
The solution covers the entire inspection process – from planning and on-site data collection to the enforcement of penalties for violations of the Posted Workers Act. It ensures compliance with labor laws and collective employment agreements.
Today, more than 150 users and over 80 clients rely on the platform, which streamlines the exchange of information between inspection bodies and enables efficient, digital collaboration.
Status quo
Digital inspections require a highly available, compliant platform infrastructure.
As a core application for processing sensitive personal data in the labor and migration context, the platform had to meet the highest standards of availability, security, and data protection.
It was also critical to ensure that the entire system was operated within Switzerland – including hosting, monitoring, and release management – in full compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

A key requirement was finding an infrastructure partner with deep expertise in secure, scalable platform operations. The solution needed to be failure-resistant, continuously monitored, and supported by robust test and staging environments.

CONVOTIS operates the platform in a high-security environment with geo-redundant backups, fully managed firewalls, and secure remote access via VPN and SSH with two-factor authentication.
The solution includes continuous monitoring, stable staging environments, and a structured release pipeline. All systems are operated exclusively in Switzerland under strict regulatory and security standards.
