The manual processing of thousands of invoices with multiple items and attachments was time-consuming and error-prone.<\/strong><\/p>

Different ERP systems, various DMS infrastructures and international recipients made the consistency and traceability of processes difficult. DB Schenker needed a solution that could reliably process the enormous volume of invoices in different formats, origins and target systems.<\/strong><\/p>

At the same time, tax law requirements such as Section 14 of the German Value Added Tax Act (UStG) had to be met, international standards such as XRechnung or ZUGFeRD had to be integrated and future regulations – such as ViDA – had to be anticipated. Standardised processing of invoice data was established via a central platform.<\/strong><\/p>

Several ERP systems were connected, data flows were consolidated and the precise integration of attachments from different DMS systems was realised. Output channels such as EDI, SAP Ariba or e-mail were designed to be flexibly configurable. The clearing centre ensures transparency, monitoring and targeted user interaction. The solution shortens throughput times, reduces DSO values and significantly minimises manual processing work.<\/strong><\/p>

Process stability is maintained even for collective invoices with thousands of items. The platform enables rule-compliant invoice creation and audit-proof archiving.
