Fleischhauerei Mühlstätter, known for its handcrafted smoked specialties made using traditional recipes, serves customers across Austria with a strong focus on quality and regional identity. Under its brand Alpenbeef, the company explored digital retail to strengthen its direct sales channel and reach new customer segments – a strategic step toward long-term growth.

Status quo

Before the project, Mühlstätter operated exclusively via physical sales channels.

The website was outdated, lacked mobile optimization, and offered no online shopping features. Digital visibility was minimal, and there was no structured way to present or sell products online. The company required a fully modernized platform to support growth and improve reach in a competitive digital environment.

The goal was to create a user-friendly, responsive e-commerce platform that reflects the brand’s tradition and quality.

The system needed intuitive navigation, filtered product views, CMS-based content management, and full responsiveness across devices. Additionally, editorial content had to be easily maintained and scheduled for publication – without compromising the brand’s authenticity or customer experience.

CONVOTIS implemented a full website relaunch with an integrated Shopware setup.

The new design combines visual appeal with regional branding. Products are displayed clearly with filter options, while CMS tools allow simple content updates and scheduled publishing.
