Founded in Austria in 1988, the company has expanded through strategic acquisitions and a strong focus on innovative, modular solutions such as the Infoniqa ONE suite. Its core offerings include digital HR services and comprehensive payroll outsourcing, targeting medium to large enterprises with complex personnel and finance process requirements.

Status quo

Prior to the project, Infoniqa delivered its software via a conventional client-server infrastructure.

This setup was increasingly inefficient and difficult to scale. Manual deployments, long onboarding times, and lack of cross-platform support limited both operational agility and customer satisfaction. Integration with client environments required significant effort, which impacted rollout speed and resource efficiency.

The challenge

Infoniqa’s on-premise application environment posed a number of technical and operational challenges.

Platform dependency limited accessibility on mobile or non-Windows systems. Each client deployment involved time-consuming manual configuration, slowing down customer onboarding and product updates. The company required a scalable and maintainable SaaS model to streamline delivery, reduce IT overhead, and support growth.

The solution

Within just three weeks, CONVOTIS transitioned the existing software architecture into a fully multi-tenant, cloud-based SaaS solution powered by the CONVOTIS Private & Sovereign Cloud.

The application was implemented as a fully browser-based solution and optimized for cross-platform use on MacOS, Android and iOS. The new architecture enables centralized administration, automated deployment and seamless integration into existing customer environments.

The result

The transformation led to a dramatic improvement in service delivery: client onboarding that used to take days now takes minutes.

Customers can access the software from any modern device, increasing accessibility and flexibility. Internal IT effort was significantly reduced thanks to automation, while the SaaS model allowed Infoniqa to generate recurring revenue streams without operating its own infrastructure.
