A modern web portal has been developed to make information, services and digital offerings more easily accessible. The aim was to create a user-friendly, accessible and future-proof platform through which citizens, employers and other interested parties can quickly access relevant information and digital services.
Prior to the project, the Jobcentre required a modern online platform that met current technical, functional and legal requirements.
The existing system was to be replaced by a structured, user-friendly portal that presents information clearly whilst enabling intuitive navigation. Furthermore, the new platform was to cater to various target groups, including citizens, employers and other interested parties, and provide quick access to services and information.
The new platform had to meet high standards in terms of both user-friendliness and accessibility.
At the same time, legal requirements and security standards had to be taken into account. The portal was to be multilingual and capable of being flexibly expanded in the long term. Furthermore, it was necessary to ensure that future interfaces with other systems or customer portals could be integrated and that content could be maintained independently by Jobcentre staff.
CONVOTIS implemented a modern web portal based on the open-source content management system SLU.
The solution is technically based on PHP and the Symfony framework, enabling a flexible, scalable platform architecture. Interfaces for future system integrations were also incorporated. In addition to the technical implementation, the project included the migration of existing content, a user-friendly editorial environment, and training for the Jobcentre’s editors to enable them to maintain the content independently.
With its new website, the Herzogtum Lauenburg Job Centre now has a modern and user-friendly platform for citizens and partners.
The portal provides structured access to information and services and meets current accessibility and security requirements. Thanks to its open architecture and the content management system used, the platform can be flexibly expanded and further developed in the long term. At the same time, content can be efficiently maintained by internal editors.
Even complex projects can be summarised in clear technical terms. Key figures and distinctive features provide insight into the concrete implementation – measurable, tangible, and transparent.
A modern, accessible web portal presents the Jobcentre’s information and digital services in a structured manner. Members of the public, employers and other interested parties can access content quickly, whilst the Jobcentre’s editorial team can manage and further develop the platform independently.
